2012 TUBAPHONIUM FESTIVAL

We invite you to attend the 2012 K-State Tubaphonium Festival!
This event is FREE to all participents!
Tubaphonium is a day long festival intended for tuba and euphonium students grade 7-12 that
are looking to hone their skills, make music, and have fun. The festival
features master classes, recitals, and a performance by the KSU Tuba Euphonium
Ensemble. Each student will have the opportunity to work with and perform in
their very own tuba quartet (two euphoniums, two tubas) and will perform for
each other in the Finale Concert. There will also be a mass ensemble to
conclude the festival in which all participants and K-State students will
perform together on the same stage!
All students will have the following opportunities:
- Master classes
- Coaching Session
- Oppertunity to perform in a tuba euphonium quartet
- All-participant mass ensemble
- Recital by Dr. Maxwell
- Free private lesson with Dr. Maxwell
- Lunch privided

10:00 AM Group warm-up
11:00 AM Quartet rehearsals

1:00 PM Faculty Recital
2:00 PM Quartet reharsals
3:00 PM Mass ensemble rehearsal
4:00 PM Finale Concert (held in room 204 - McCain Auditorium)
